The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has put the NEET PG Scorecard 2026 on its official websites — and if you appeared for the exam, this is the one document you cannot afford to lose. The result PDF declared on 24 September 2026 only told you whether you qualified. The scorecard, released on 2 October 2026, tells you how well you did — your marks, your percentile, your all-India rank. Counselling runs on the scorecard, not on the result PDF, so download it, save copies, and print it today.

Here is everything you need: the exact download steps, the difference between the result PDF and the scorecard, the 6-month availability rule nobody reads, and the checks you must do the moment your scorecard opens.

NEET PG Scorecard 2026 — Quick Facts

Don’t Confuse the Result PDF With the Scorecard

This is the mistake half the candidates make. The result PDF published on 24 September was a merit list — roll numbers, qualifying status, nothing more. You could check it without logging in. The scorecard released on 2 October is your personal document: your marks, percentile, category and rank. It lives behind your applicant login, and only you can pull it down.

If you only downloaded the result PDF and thought you were done — you are not. Counselling authorities will ask for the scorecard. Download it from your login now.

How to Download the NEET PG 2026 Scorecard

Follow these steps in order:

1. Go to the official website, nbe.edu.in.
2. Click the NEET-PG tab.
3. Open the NEET PG 2026 applicant login / scorecard link.
4. Enter your registered login credentials (the same ones you used for the application).
5. Your scorecard will appear on the screen. Download it and save a copy immediately.
6. Take a printout as well — keep it with your other counselling documents.

Download Only From the Official Websites

This needs saying plainly: do not trust any third-party “scorecard download” link shared on WhatsApp, Telegram, or random job blogs. The scorecard is available only on nbe.edu.in and natboard.edu.in. Fake links are used to harvest your login credentials — and your NBEMS account is tied to your counselling registration, so losing it is a real problem. Type the official address into your browser yourself instead of clicking a forwarded link.

Check These Details the Moment It Opens

Errors on the scorecard surface at the worst possible time — usually at document verification, when the queue is long and the clock is ticking. Spend two minutes now checking these fields:

• Your name and roll number — match them against your admit card.
• Category — make sure the category shown matches the one you applied under.
• Marks and percentile — confirm the figures look right; note your all-India rank as well.
• Qualifying status — confirm it reflects the result declared on 24 September.

If anything is wrong, do not assume it will be “fixed automatically at counselling”. Report the discrepancy to NBEMS through the official contact channels right away, and keep a written record of your complaint.

Why the 6-Month Window Matters More Than You Think

The scorecard stays downloadable for 6 months from 2 October 2026. That sounds like plenty of time, but counselling rounds stretch on, and mop-up and stray-vacancy rounds can fall late in the calendar. Candidates who skip the download “until they need it” are the ones panicking when the link goes dead.

Keep three copies: one saved PDF on your phone, one emailed to yourself, and one physical printout with your certificates. If your college asked you for “the NEET PG result”, show them the scorecard — that is the document they mean.
