29 Apprentice Seats, 6 Trades

All 29 seats are ITI trades. Electrician alone takes 10 seats — more than a third of the intake — followed by Fitter with 8. Turner, Welder and Motor Mechanic have 3 seats each, and COPA has 2. The training period is one year for all trades.

Kaun apply kar sakta hai?

ITI pass in the relevant trade. Only permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh are eligible, with preference to residents of Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria, Katni and Jabalpur districts. Candidates who have previously registered for or undergone an apprenticeship in any establishment, or worked for more than one year, cannot apply.

Kitni salary milegi?

Monthly stipend of Rs. 9,600 for every trade, for the one-year training period. This is an apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, not a permanent MPPGCL job — there is no guarantee of employment after training ends. Selected candidates must hold an accident insurance policy of at least Rs. 1 lakh.

Selection kaise hoga?

No written test. Shortlisting is done on the basis of ITI aggregate marks (semester average percentage), followed by document verification, and the final merit list is drawn on the percentage of total marks obtained in ITI.
