Result declared. The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) released the Assistant Teacher (Primary) result on 13 October 2026 (Post Code 802/25, Advt. No. 05/2025). Marks of 83,614 out of 83,615 candidates who appeared have been uploaded, along with category-wise cut offs. If you are shortlisted, the e-dossier window runs from 16 to 30 October 2026 — miss it and your marks will not save you.

The wait is finally over for Delhi’s primary-teacher aspirants. How to Check Your DSSSB PRT Marks

The board has not published a single merit-list PDF this time. Your marks are visible only inside your own account:

  1. Open the OARS portal at dsssbonline.nic.in.
  2. Log in with the application number and date of birth you used while applying. If you have forgotten the details, use the “forgot password” option on the login page.
  3. Click the result link shown after login.
  4. Take a screenshot or printout of your marks and keep it safe. You will need it for reference throughout the remaining process.
A note on the vacancy number. Different published references disagree on the total posts (roughly 1,169–1,180, split between the Directorate of Education and NDMC). Treat Advt. No. 05/2025 on the official website as the final word — the numbers below on cut offs and shortlisted candidates are from the board’s official result notice dated 13 October 2026.

DSSSB PRT Cut Off 2026 (Category-Wise, Out of 200)

Cut offs are declared alongside the result. A candidate whose marks are equal to or above the cut off for their category is provisionally shortlisted for the e-dossier.

Category Shortlisted for e-dossier Cut off (out of 200)
UR 1,012 172.06
EWS 373 (113 in UR) 160.95
OBC 874 (254 in UR) 160.09
SC 394 (54 in UR) 158.01
ST 148 (2 in UR) 139.64
PwBD (Category a) 55 149.73
PwBD (Category b) 38 132.47
PwBD (Category c) 45 152.75
PwBD (Category c and d) 35 118.81

The Biggest Misunderstanding: Qualifying Marks Are Not the Cut Off

Every DSSSB cycle, thousands of candidates read the notification’s minimum qualifying marks — 40% for General/EWS, 35% for OBC (Delhi), 30% for SC/ST/PwBD — and assume that clearing 80 marks out of 200 keeps them in the race. This result shows how wrong that assumption is.

The qualifying marks are only the first filter. The real battle is the cut off, and this year it climbed brutally high: 172.06 out of 200 for the UR category, which is about 86%. Compare that with the PRT exam held in 2018, when the UR cut off was 121.91 — a jump of roughly 50 marks in eight years. That tells you everything about how competitive Delhi’s teacher recruitment has become. If your score sits between the minimum qualifying marks and the cut off, you have passed the exam on paper but you are not shortlisted, and no grievance on that ground will change it.

What the E-Dossier Actually Is (And Why It Is Not Automatic)

Being above the cut off does not make you a teacher yet. Provisional shortlisting is not final selection — it only earns you the e-dossier link, which appears in your OARS account from 16 October 2026 and stays active until 30 October 2026.

The e-dossier is where you upload your documents for verification: educational and professional certificates, degree and marksheets, caste certificate where applicable, your admit card, and proof of government service or ex-serviceman status where relevant. A few practical points that catch candidates out every year:

  • The link appears only for shortlisted candidates. If you do not see it in your OARS account after 16 October, you were most likely not shortlisted — the board’s position is that simple.
  • Do not depend on the SMS or email. The board says candidates may also receive an SMS and email on their registered details, but describes it as an extra facility. If your registered mobile number changed, you could receive nothing and still be shortlisted. Check the portal yourself.
  • Finish before 30 October. Waiting for the last day is how candidates lose seats they earned on merit.
  • Report technical glitches fast. If the upload portal misbehaves, take screenshots immediately and report the issue within 48 hours of the window closing. The board allows 3 extra days where a glitch is confirmed — but only with evidence reported in time.

What to Do After Checking Your Marks

  1. Above the cut off? Keep scanned copies of every document ready before 16 October, then fill the e-dossier as soon as the link appears.
  2. Below the cut off but above qualifying marks? You are not shortlisted this time. The board has been declaring results post by post — keep an eye on upcoming DSSSB results rather than hoping this one gets revised.
  3. Below qualifying marks? The 2018-vs-2026 cut-off jump shows the bar is rising. Analyse your section-wise performance against the 172.06 UR benchmark and plan the next cycle.
Important dates, one place: Result and cut off — 13 October 2026. E-dossier window — 16 to 30 October 2026. Technical-issue reports accepted up to 48 hours after the window closes. Extra 3 days granted only where a technical glitch is confirmed by the board.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. Is the DSSSB PRT result 2026 out?
Yes. DSSSB declared the Assistant Teacher (Primary) result (Post Code 802/25) on 13 October 2026, along with category-wise cut off marks.

Q2. Where can I check the DSSSB PRT result?
Log in to the OARS portal at dsssbonline.nic.in with your application number and date of birth. The official notice is also available on dsssb.delhi.gov.in.

Q3. What is the DSSSB PRT cut off 2026 for the UR category?
172.06 out of 200. Cut offs for other categories range from 118.81 (PwBD categories c and d) to 160.95 (EWS), as shown in the table above.

Q4. What are the DSSSB PRT e-dossier dates?

Check your OARS account directly. The board treats SMS and email alerts as an extra facility, not the official mode of communication.
