UP Anganwadi Hardoi Recruitment 2026 — 662 Worker & Helper Posts, Apply Online
Walk-in interviews are supposed to be the easy ones — no long online forms, no admit cards, just show up with your documents. Oil India Limited (OIL), a Maharatna public sector undertaking, is holding exactly that kind of drive: a walk-in for 2 Retainer Doctor posts on contract at its Field Headquarters in Duliajan, Assam, paying Rs. 85,000 per month.
But before any MBBS graduate books a train ticket, read this carefully. This is a pure contract engagement, not a permanent PSU job — and the advertisement (Advt. No. HRAQ/CONT-EX-B/26-311 dated 21/10/2026) packs in terms most candidates only discover after selection: a 100-mark interview with a hard qualifying bar, strict 7–9 AM registration, and a contract that can end with 15 days’ notice. Here is the full picture, straight from the notice, so you walk in knowing everything.
Key Dates — Walk-in on 4 November 2026
Walk-in interview date: 4 November 2026 (Wednesday)
Registration time: 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM on 4/11/2026 — no registration outside this window
Venue: Duliajan Club, Oil India Limited, Duliajan

Who Can Attend
Only Indian nationals are eligible, and every condition below must be met on the date of registration for the walk-in — not on some later date:
- MBBS degree with a minimum one-year internship completed.
- A valid Certificate of Registration from the MCI/State Medical Council, as required under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Age: minimum 18 years; maximum 45 years for General and 50 years for ST candidates.
One detail worth flagging: the notice is unusually specific about age proof. Only the Class 10 Admit Card, Pass Certificate or Marksheet issued by a government-recognised board is accepted as proof of date of birth — no other document is accepted. If you were planning to use your Aadhar card for this, don’t; it won’t count here.
The post is also marked suitable for PwBD candidates in the OA (One Arm), OL (One Leg), OAL (One Arm and One Leg) and Dw (Dwarfism) categories. Reservation for PwBD and Ex-Servicemen follows Government of India guidelines.
The Interview Has a Hard Qualifying Bar
Many candidates hear “walk-in” and assume the selection is a formality. OIL’s notice says otherwise. Selection is through a walk-in interview carrying 100 marks, and the minimum qualifying mark is 50 — for all categories. There is no separate relaxation in the qualifying standard; the final merit list is drawn only on interview marks.
With just 2 seats (one UR, one ST), the race is category-specific and tight. Treat the interview like a real competitive round: current affairs in public health, emergency and primary-care scenarios, and your internship experience are all fair game. A panel interviewing doctors for a PSU township hospital will probe clinical judgement, not just certificates.
Heads-up on the crowd: the notice says that if a large number of candidates register, the remaining interviews will continue on the following day(s). Carry enough to stay an extra night in Duliajan — do not plan a same-evening return.
The Contract Fine Print Most People Miss
This section decides whether the job is right for you, so read it twice:
- The first contract is for 1 year. It may be extended by two further terms of 6 months each, based on departmental need, job performance, conduct and physical fitness. Total engagement can never exceed 2 years.
- The contract ends automatically when the period expires — no separate notice is given. Separately, either side can end it at any time with 15 days’ notice.
- The engagement gives no right or claim to employment or regularisation in Oil India Limited. This is not a foot in the door for a permanent OIL medical officer post.
- You may not take up any other assignment during the engagement, and you are liable to be placed in any location the Competent Authority thinks fit.
- The work may include shifts and “On-Call” duty — this is full-time PSU hospital life, not a visiting-consultant arrangement.
- On the Rs. 85,000/month: it is total Contract Emoluments made of fixed and variable parts. Notably, if a selected candidate takes maternity leave during the contract, only the fixed part is paid for that period.
- EPF and Gratuity apply — you must give your Universal Account Number (UAN) to OIL at the time of engagement.
- Shared Executive accommodation is provided, and you get 10 days of paid leave for one year, with a maximum of 6 days at a time. All applicable taxes are borne by you.
What to Carry on 4 November
Bring originals plus one set of self-attested copies of each of these to registration and the interview:
- The filled-in Personal Bio-Data Form — its format is printed on the last 2 pages of the advertisement, with a 3cm × 3cm photograph pasted on it.
- One recent 3cm × 3cm coloured passport photograph.
- Valid photo identity proof and valid address proof issued by a competent government authority.
- Class 10 Admit Card / Pass Certificate / Marksheet (for age proof — remember, nothing else counts).
- MBBS marksheets, MCI/SMC Registration Certificate, and Internship Certificate.
- Aadhar Card, PAN Card, and Bank Pass Book.
- Category certificates and NOC, wherever applicable.
Do not arrive at 9:05 AM. Registration runs strictly from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM — the notice says nobody can register outside this time. Reach Duliajan the previous evening; the registration desk will not wait for you.
FAQs
Q. Is the OIL Retainer Doctor post permanent?
No. It is purely contractual — 1 year at first, extendable up to a maximum of 2 years, with no claim to regularisation in OIL.
Q. What exactly is the pay — is Rs. 85,000 the in-hand salary?
Rs. 85,000/month is the total Contract Emoluments, made of fixed and variable parts. EPF applies, taxes are borne by you, and during maternity leave only the fixed part is paid.
Q. Is there an application fee or an online form?
There is no online form at all — you simply walk in on 4 November with the documents. The notice does not mention any application fee.
Q. Where exactly is the walk-in held?
At Duliajan Club, Oil India Limited, Duliajan (Assam), with registration from 7:00 to 9:00 AM on 4 November 2026.
Q. I am 45 and from the General category — am I eligible?
The maximum age for General candidates is 45 years, counted on the date of registration (4 November 2026). If you are exactly 45 on that date, you are within the limit — but carry your Class 10 document as age proof, since nothing else is accepted.
Q. What happens if too many doctors turn up?
The notice anticipates this: interviews will spill over to the following day(s). Plan for at least one extra day in Duliajan.
