KEA Female Supervisor Recruitment 2026: 141 Posts, Apply Online by 28 Nov
The Railway Recruitment Boards have opened the single biggest graduate-level railway window of the year, and the form went live today, 08 October 2026. Under CEN No. 06/2026, RRBs are hiring for 3,548 Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) graduate posts across Indian Railways — and this cycle carries two twists that change how you should approach it: there is no Typing Skill Test at all this time (even for the two clerk-cum-typist posts), and a large share of the examination fee is refunded if you actually sit for CBT 1. Get those two facts right, and the rest of the process becomes straightforward.
The window is short — applications close on 06 November 2026 at 11:59 PM — and railway forms punish sloppy detail-entry harder than most. One application, one RRB, one live photo captured in the portal: this is the full verified breakdown of CEN 06/2026.
Quick Facts at a Glance

| Age limit | 18–33 years as on 01.01.2027 |
| Application mode | Online only, through the RRB application portal |
| Application window | 08.10.2026 – 06.11.2026 (11:59 PM) |
| Fee payment deadline | 08.11.2026 |
| Selection | CBT 1 → CBT 2 → Document Verification → Medical Examination |
Post-Wise Vacancy, Pay Level & Medical Standard
Four posts, but the distribution is heavily skewed: Goods Train Manager alone accounts for 2,750 of the 3,548 posts — nearly four out of every five seats. If you are a plain graduate without a typing-speed edge, that is where the mathematics of this notification quietly points.
| Post | Vacancies | 7th CPC Level | Initial pay | Medical standard |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor | 127 | Level 6 | ₹35,400 | B2 |
| Goods Train Manager | 2,750 | Level 5 | ₹29,200 | A2 |
| Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist | 300 | Level 5 | ₹29,200 | C2 |
| Senior Clerk cum Typist | 371 | Level 5 | ₹29,200 | C2 |
| Total | 3,548 | — | — | — |
The RRB-wise, Railway Zone-wise and post-wise distribution is given in Annexure B of CEN No. 06/2026 — choose your RRB with care, because the choice cannot be changed later. Note the medical standards: A2 (Goods Train Manager) is the strictest of the four, so check the eyesight and fitness norms in the notification before locking your post preferences if you wear glasses.
Eligibility — The Degree Cutoff Date That Rejects Applications
The qualification rule is simple on paper and brutal in practice: you must possess the degree on or before 06.11.2026. Candidates awaiting the final result of their qualifying examination are not eligible to apply — even if your result is due a week after the deadline. If your final-semester result has not been declared, this notification is not for you.
| Post | Minimum qualification |
|---|---|
| Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor | Degree from a recognized University or equivalent |
| Goods Train Manager | Degree from a recognized University or equivalent |
| Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist | Degree from a recognized University or equivalent |
| Senior Clerk cum Typist | Degree from a recognized University or equivalent |
Age Limit & Relaxation (as on 01.01.2027)
Minimum age is 18 and maximum is 33 across all four posts. The cut-off dates, worked out from the notification, are:
| Category | Date of birth (must not be earlier than) |
|---|---|
| UR / EWS | 02.01.1994 |
| OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) | 02.01.1991 |
| SC / ST | 02.01.1989 |
| Lower age limit: must not be born after 01.01.2009 (i.e., must be 18 on 01.01.2027) | |
| Category | Age relaxation |
|---|---|
| SC / ST | 5 years |
| OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) | 3 years |
| PwBD – UR / EWS | 10 years |
| PwBD – OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) | 13 years |
| PwBD – SC / ST | 15 years |
| Ex-Servicemen | As prescribed in CEN 06/2026 after deduction of qualifying military service |
Application Fee — and the Refund Most People Miss
| Category | Fee | Refund after appearing in CBT 1 |
|---|---|---|
| All candidates except concession categories | ₹500 | ₹400 (after bank charges) |
| SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen / PwBD / Female / Transgender / Minorities / EBC | ₹250 | ₹250 (after bank charges) |
The refund mechanics deserve a second reading: the fee is refunded only to candidates who actually appear in the 1st Stage CBT. Fill the form and skip the exam, and you lose the full amount. The net cost of this recruitment for a candidate who sits the exam is effectively ₹100 for the general category and zero for concession categories — one more reason not to treat the application as optional after paying. Payment is online through Internet Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card or UPI.

Exam Pattern — CBT 1 and CBT 2
Both stages are computer-based tests with 1/3 negative marking per wrong answer — the one constant across every RRB exam. CBT 1 is the screening stage; CBT 2 is the merit stage.
| CBT 1 — Subject | Questions | Marks |
|---|---|---|
| General Awareness | 40 | 40 |
| Mathematics | 30 | 30 |
| General Intelligence & Reasoning | 30 | 30 |
| Total | 100 | 100 |
| CBT 2 — Subject | Questions | Marks |
|---|---|---|
| General Awareness | 50 | 50 |
| Mathematics | 35 | 35 |
| General Intelligence & Reasoning | 35 | 35 |
| Total | 120 | 120 |
Each stage is 90 minutes (120 minutes for eligible PwBD candidates using a scribe). Minimum qualifying marks: 40% for UR/EWS, 30% for OBC (NCL) and SC, 25% for ST — relaxable by 2 marks for PwBD candidates if reserved vacancies fall short. If you have been following this year’s RRB cycles, the structure will feel familiar — you can check the RRB ALP CBT-II result to see how zone-wise cutoffs played out in a parallel RRB recruitment this season.
One RRB, One Application — the Hardest Rule in the Notification
Two practical notes that save applicants real grief: if you created an RRB account for any earlier CEN in 2024, 2025 or 2026, use the same login credentials rather than creating a duplicate account; and the live photograph is captured through the application portal itself — you are not required to upload a pre-existing passport photograph, but your signature must be uploaded in the prescribed format.
How to Apply Online
- Visit the official RRB application portal and open the application for CEN No. 06/2026 – NTPC Graduate.
- Select Create an Account if you do not already have an RRB account from a 2024–2026 CEN; otherwise log in with your existing credentials.
- Complete Aadhaar/DigiLocker identity authentication where applicable.
- Select only one RRB — carefully; this choice cannot be changed later.
- Enter personal, educational, category and other required details, and choose your eligible Railway/Production Unit and post preferences.
- Capture the live photograph through the portal and upload the signature in the prescribed format.
- Pay the applicable examination fee online (last date for payment: 08.11.2026).
- Preview every field, then submit before 06.11.2026, 11:59 PM. Save the registration details and the submitted application.
Candidates will be shortlisted for Document Verification RRB-wise in the ratio of approximately 1:1 against the notified vacancies, based on merit and applicable recruitment rules — followed by the medical examination at the prescribed standard.
